I can't login to Plesk Panel, what should I do?

Below are common errors encountered when you cannot access Plesk Panel

1. Error The credentials you are trying to log in are invalid

- This error is closely related to entering invalid login details when logging into Plesk. If you have forgotten your login credentials, please access Plesk from Client Area

2. "Timeout on session" error which may be caused by:

  • Domain is not pointed to the hosting server

Solution: If you cannot access Plesk using a domain-based URL such as https://domain.com:8443/, check that the domain is pointed to the hosting server correctly. Make sure the DNS A record for your domain points to the v12 server IP

For this you can check with the link ini

If your domain is registered with a third-party Registar, contact them and request to change the nameservers for your domain to the ones specified in your Hosting Account Details from the "Welcome Email" we sent you earlier.

If your domain uses the Domain Registrar's default nameservers and is pointed to the hosting server via an IP address, make sure the IP is correct.

  • DNS propagation

When you change the nameservers for your domain name, these changes are not immediately accepted around the world. It may take up to 24 to 72 hours for local ISPs to update their DNS caches so that everyone can see your website.

Therefore during the propagation period, domain-based URLs such as https://domain.com:8443/ will not work.

Therefore, you can access Plesk via https: // serverhostname: 8443 /
