How to Redirect a Domain/URL

Creating a domain redirection can be easily done with cPanel. For example, your domain name is domainku1.com later traffic from your website can be redirected to domainku2.com.

At the same time, domainku1.com/about.html can also be redirected to domainku1.com/aboutus.html.

Here are some ways to redirect your domain in cPanel:

Step 1:

Login to cPanel.

Step 2:

Go to the "Domains" menu and click "Redirects".

Step 3:

Click the box labeled "Type" and choose if you want a Permanent (301), or Temporary (302) redirection.

Step 4:

Select the domain you want to redirect.

Step 5:

Fill in the box behind the '/' sign with the name of the folder you are currently using. You can leave the box blank if you want to redirect the domain's original name.

Step 6:

Select - "Redirect with or without www."

Step 7:

Check the city if you want to create a Wild Card Redirect. This will add a folder with the same name behind your URL when redirecting. For example, domainku1.com/test.php will redirect to domainku2.com/test.php

Step 8:

If you get a message like the one below, then your redirection creation process has been successful!
