Before making changes, we recommend that you do a backup first. In the Outlook application, you can backup your email with the following guide.
- Go to File > Open & Export menu and select Export/Import.
- Select Export to a File and click the Next button.
- Then select the Outlook data file (PST) option.
- Select the email folder to be backed up, for example INBOX.
- Specify the location of the backup file to be used, for example the default outlook will point to the path C:\Users\username\Documents\Outlook Files\backup.pst - can be changed as needed.
- After that, click the Finish button to complete the backup process.

1. Deleting an IMAP account
Here's a guide:
- Click File menu > Info > Select Account Settings.
- Select the IMAP email account to be deleted, and then click the remove button.
2. Setting Account POP3
After the IMAP email in Outlook is deleted, the next step you can reset with the POP3 option. To do this, select the File > Info > Add new account menu.
