When you have purchased a VPS from Exabyes Indonesia, many of you may ask how do I point my domain to my VPS or to my Exabytes hosting. There are several scenarios and things that must be considered in this case.
Pointing to VPS
To point to a VPS, you must first know the public IP of the VPS. The public IP of your VPS can be obtained from the customer area and selecting your VPS service product.
I Don't Have My Own DNS Server
If you don't have your own DNS server, then you can ask our technical support team to help add your domain to our DNS server. The easiest way we recommend is to send an email to our support at support@exabytes.co.id via your email.
Fill in the subject with Request pointing domain.com To x.x.x.x. Where domain.com is your domain, and x.x.x.x is your VPS IP.
Make sure the NS (Name Servers) that must be added are as follows:
NS1.IDCLOUDHOSTING.COM NS2.IDCLOUDHOSTING.COM |
Then, our technical support team will help you to do IP pointing to your VPS.
Pointing to Exabytes Hosting
To point to our shared Hosting, the method is the same as above. That is, make sure your NS has been filled in according to the points we have stated. No need to send an email to our support team.
So from your hosting control panel, just Add Domain or Addon Domain and make sure the NS (Name servers) has been added with our NS (see point above). No need to request to send an email to the technical support team.
