How do I Add domain on IIS Windows?

IIS (Internet Information Services) is a web server software developed by Microsoft. It is used to host websites, web applications, and services on the Windows operating system.

First to do is launch Server Manager first and then go to Tools > Launch Internet Information Services (IIS).

Go to Sites and right click > Add Website

Now fill your website name ie. yourwebsite.com.

And then choose your website virtual directory. By default windows IIS has C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ working directory. Every domain added under that folder. Let's make folder called yourwebsite.com under C:\inetpub\wwwroot\ . Then browse the folder.

Once done go binding to bind IP address and the virtual name. In this case, we use http and set IP address listening to All Unassigned under port 80 which is default port for HTTP Request. Don't forget to add your hostname as well.

Once everything settled click OK. Congratulations! Your domain has been setup!

Please make sure your domain has been pointed correctly to your Server IP.
