  • First, you need to login to your WordPress Dashboard

  • On the new Edit Post page that opens, click the Screen Options option on the top right, then check Author

7.      How to Change Author on WordPress with the Same User

You can also change the author of multiple posts associated with the same user. However, this requires you to rename the display generator, instead of specifying another existing user.

Before doing so, make sure you have the user role as administrator. Then, follow these steps to change the author display name

  • Open Users → All Users
  • Tap the user and select Edit
  • Find the Name section. Change the author name in the specified field.
  • Expand display name publicly as and select a new name
  • Click Update user
