Website is one of the useful things. For example, information systems, sales websites, company profiles, and other websites. Many developers create and develop their websites with a local server or localhost. After the website is finished, then you have to move the website from localhost to hosting and buy a domain.
There are several ways to upload your website files into cPanel, one of which is by uploading files directly to cPanel. Uploading files into your cPanel is relatively easy because you can just drag & drop them. Here are the steps:
1. Log into your cPanel by accessing it via http://namadomain/cpanel
2. Once you're inside the cPanel page, click File Manager
3. Then, click public_html to enter the main directory of your website.
4. After logging in, upload the html file from your pc by clicking upload on the toolbar above.
5. Upload your html file by drag & drop or manually select the file.
6. As a suggestion, put your web files into one zip and then later in the public_html directory you can extract. If you don't know how to unify files into .zip here's how:
- Go into the web files on your pc, then select all the files. Then right-click and add to archive (you must have winzip or winrar program).
- Give your file a name and choose a .zip extension. Click Ok when finished
- You've finished consolidating your web files into one package.
7. Make sure the web file uploaded to your cPanel has been successful. Then click Go Back.
8. Right-click and extract your web.zip file to extract all the files you packaged earlier. Extract in the public_html directory
9. Your web file was successfully extracted from your .zip file. Make sure there is html so that the web file you uploaded can be accessed on your website.
To make it easier for you to upload files to the Website, it is recommended to first convert all files to ZIP / RAR, which will be extracted to your hosting.
Good luck and thank you.
