The following steps will help you prevent users and robots from posting Spam on your WordPress blog:
- Within the WordPress Dashboard, select Settings, then select the Discussions menu in the left-hand navigation.
- From the Discussion page, scroll down.
- Check the box Users must be registered and logged in to comment. Like the picture below
- Then check the box Comments must be approved manually.
- You can enter words, phrases, or content into the box containing the comment for Comment Moderation
- You can enter words, phrases, or content into the box that will delete comments containing these things.
- Then scroll down and click Save Changes.
Your WordPress blog is now approved to fight Spam.
