Here's a tutorial on how to use Widgets.
1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard, select Appearance " Widgets and you will find a page to organize all widgets.
2. The Sidebar column displays your active widgets, which means they are displayed by your site. If you want to edit or delete them, simply click on one of the active widgets then select Delete.
3. Let's assume we've removed all the default Widgets that WordPress has defaulted to displaying, and now we're going to set what Widgets to display.
The method is very easy, you only need to click on the widget available, then select Sidebar if you want to display it in the sidebar location, after that Add Widget and we have successfully added the widget. Finally don't forget to save.
4. Choose a few widgets that you want to display to enhance the look of your WordPress. It's advisable not to have too many as it will be very distracting for your site visitors.
