Adding Verification Code Through Yoast seo
To add the webmaster tools verification code, please follow these steps:
- First create a webmaster tools property through the following link https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/ click "Add" to add website property
- Choose an alternative method using HTML tags, save the code to be inserted into wordpress, then please log in to wordpress
- Install and activate the Yoast SEO plugin on wordpress first, and here is the Yoast SEO installation guide
From the admin dashboard of your WordPress site, look on the left side of the screen for the Plugins option. Hovering over the top, you will see the Add New option.
Click Add New and you'll be taken to a page with a selection of featured, popular, recommended, and favorite plugins. If you don't see Yoast SEO listed in this section, type it in the search bar to find it.
Install plugin Yoast
After finding the Yoast SEO plugin, click Install Now and WordPress will do the download process. After the download is complete, activate the plugin. - After completion, verify from the Webmaster Tools side. Verification may not be possible immediately, please wait a few hours if the code is not recognized.
