How to Enable SPF and DKIM in cPanel

SPF and DKIM are one way to provide the identity of the email to be sent so that the destination email can easily verify that the email was actually sent from the original email address and is not a spam email.

Enabling the SPF and DKIM features in Exabytes is easy. Here are the steps:

1. Login to your cPanel and select the Email Deliverability menu in your cPanel.

SPF

2. After that, please click Manage on the domain name that will activate SPF & DKIM.

SPF1

3. Copy the code that appears on DKIM & SPF as follows.

DKIM

4. After copying, please paste & add it to your DNS Hosting / Server like this.

SPF2

You can check the status of whether SPF and DKIM are active at http://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx

5. Finish!

Troubleshoot

If you get the following error message:

"In order to ensure that SPF or DKIM takes effect, you must confirm that this server is an authoritative nameserver for “xxx”. If you need help, contact your hosting provider."

Then you can ignore the message because the error occurs because cPanel checks the local nameservers and we redirect our nameservers to other servers. This is a cPanel bug, but it does not reduce the functionality of SPF and DKIM on your account.
