By using Spam Expert, you can also check your own email history that has been entered in the Spam Expert log. How can you do this?
1. Login to your Spam Expert first.
2. After opening the new interface panel, look to the left in the Incoming section and select Logs.
3. The Query Rules settings will open.
To do an email search beforehand, there are a few things we should know first.
- The sender of the email. For example [email protected]
- Recipient of the email. For example [email protected]
- The time the email was sent.
Basically, we must include these three components in the Query Rules.
4. To add a search component, please click New Rule.
5. Suppose [email protected] sends an email to [email protected] on April 23, 2020 at around 10:00 WIB. Then you will check based on the information above and check on April 24, 2020 (1 day interval). Then the Query Rules that must be set are these:
The circles marked in red are some of the points that should be considered based on the study case information.
6. If the Query Rules component is sufficient, now click Show Results. The results will be visible.
[ ! ] ATTENTION[ ! ]
Some email logs if sent too close together (1-2 hours back), may not have been recorded in the Spam Expert logs. If this is the case, please wait a while for the logs to be recorded.
If you want to view logs far back (3 days or more), it may take a long time to search, considering that there are tens of hundreds of lines of incoming email logs per second. You just need to wait in the same browser window and wait for the results to come out.
