Selecting a OneDrive file
Select a file as described below, and then specify other settings of the backup plan accordingly.
To select OneDrive files
Click on Microsoft 365.
If multiple Microsoft 365 organizations are added to the backup service, select the organization whose user data you want to back up. Otherwise, skip this step.
Do one of the following:
- To back up the files of all users (including users that will be created in the future), expand the User node, select All users, and then click Group backup.
Please note that all OneDrive users created in the future will be included in this Group Backup and will use the subscription seat quota. The current version of the backup design does not support excluding specific OneDrive users from being backed up in the Group Backup Plan once created.
If you only want to back up a specific user's OneDrive, create an individual OneDrive backup plan and apply it to the required ones
To back up individual OneDrive users, expand the User node, select All users, select the users you want to back up, select OneDrive on what to back up, and then click Backup.

File exclusion overrides file selection; i.e. if you specify the same file in both fields, this file will be ignored during backup.
[Optional] If you want to encrypt your backup, enable the Encription switch, then set your password and select the encryption algorithm. Please keep the encryption key safe, if lost, there is no way to recover it even from Exabytes.
