Install VestaCP from CentOS 7

To start installing VestaCP on CentOS 7, here are the minimum resources you need. VestaCP is an open source hosting control panel that is only available on Linux and development is currently ongoing.

  • 512 MB RAM
  • 20 GB storage
  • 1 CPU core 1 GHz

Referring to the minimum specifications, you can install VestaCP using Linux VPS Plan 1.


To do the initial installation, you can use the Advanved Install Setting feature which can be accessed through the VestaCP website at https://vestacp.com/install/


If you are using 1 GB RAM, it is not recommended to use the full email feature. Here is the best configuration for a 1 GB RAM resource if you want to use the email feature.



If you are using 2 GB RAM or more, and want to use the full email features, you can use the following configuration:



After the configuration has been set, then you just click Generate Install Command and the installation instructions will appear immediately. You just need to log in to your SSH server, then follow the steps that have been instructed.


The VestaCP installation process takes 10-15 minutes in total. With more VPS CPU cores, the installation process becomes faster.
