If you ordered a server and you want to install cPanel yourself, here are the steps you can follow
1.Make sure you have a stable Internet connection during the installation.
2.Make sure the server you install cpanel on is a new server, and there is no user data there.
use the following partitioning scheme:
/boot 35 Megabytes (MB)
/usr 8192+ MB (8192MB for 80GB disk, 10240MB for 100GB disk, 20480MB for 200GB disk, etc.)
/var 2500+ MB
/tmp 512+ MB
/ 2048 MB
/home growing partition
swap 2x total memory size
Minimum recommended server specifications
P266
256 MB Ram
20 GB Space
(A cPanel system installation will take up 500MB of space)
> Starting the Installation
1. Login to the server as ROOT
2. enter command
# cd /home
# wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest
# sh latest
3. After that, please wait until the installation is complete, make sure your internet connection is stable and in good condition, or you have to uninstall cpanel by formatting the hard disk, and repeating the OS & CPANEL installation process.
