How to create a protection plan

Users who sign up for the Advanced Security and Backup services will manage both using the same Acronis web console account.


1. Log in to the web-based console via https://id01-cloud.acronis.com/



2. Under Management select Protection Plan and Click Create plan

3. By default, the Advanced Security feature is included in this protection plan.

4. Select all the required attributes and click Create


5. After clicking Create, the Window will display the screen below. As in the previous feature, encryption is enabled so users may need to Create Password.


Otherwise, users can choose to Create packets without encryption.

6. A new protection plan has been created.


Backup, Antivirus & Antimalware protection, Vulnerability assessment, Patch management, and Data protection modules can be run on demand by clicking Run now.




SUMMARY


By default, Cyber Protect includes features that cover most cybersecurity threats. You can use these features at no additional cost. In addition, you can enable advanced features to enhance your workload protection.


If advanced protection features are enabled for your use, they will appear in the protection plan marked with the Advanced features icon for advanced protection features.
