My Backup Service Isn't Running

This service is specifically for VPS and Dedicated Server customers.


You can check whether the backup service on your server is running or not. The trick is to telnet to port 1167 on your server.


telnet IP-anda 1167


If there is a refused, it means there is a problem from your firewall side or maybe the backup process is not running on your server. Make sure your firewall allows port 1167 to allow connections.


Check whether the backup process is running or not.


service cdp-agent status


or


service sbm-agent status


If it is not active, you can try to start the service.
